The fundamental truth about Christianity is faith. To understand God and be able to walk in his ways, you will need to apply faith in your relationship with God and life.
It is often said, “The greatest asset or tool in life is to have faith and believe”
The question is what is faith? In my own words, Faith is looking beyond the natural things in life and having the belief in the unseen dreams and heart desires. According to the Bible, Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
Faith is a broad subject in our world today, it is very difficult to have faith in ourselves, yet to have faith in God. The environment we live in has changed our perception for life as we are constantly influenced by peers, internet, TV and bill boards/magazines. Some Christians and churches in today’s world have no faith in God, but are rather church attendees. We talk about God but do not exercise the true core values of what God takes pleasure in. We tend to want things instantly, but do not question or inquire from God if that need or want (that moment in our life) is heavenly planned.
To me, Faith is the key and secret tool to be a strong Christian. Moreover, I appreciate and understand how life can be very difficult and unbarring – making us question God and even our future. I have been there several times.
There is always light at the end of every tunnel, but the choice and decision lies in you to believe you can reach that finish line. Nothing in life comes on a silver platter, but you must believe that there is a Great God who is bigger and greater than every situation. For He is the creator of the universe and He will never lie or change his mind. The past is the past but you can change your future by having the faith in God by working hard and praying to Him Alone. No matter our sins and evil deeds, God has promised in his word to forgive us. So have faith and understand by faith your sins are forgiven.
Remember this, winners don’t do different things but they do things differently.
